Lives are being shaped by the rapid advancements in technology. In order to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace, it is critical to stay ahead of the curve and next disruption. To adapt, industries have had to integrate enhanced and safer technology into the manufacturing of their products and the products themselves – the automotive industry is a testament to this.

Waterloo Centre for Automotive Research (WatCAR), in partnership with Waterloo EDC, host the AutoTech Symposium at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. The symposium brings together Ontario based automotive technology companies, in order to connect them with global automotive decision – makers in the areas of security software, artificial intelligence and automation. The symposium will include panel discussions, industry experts, WatCAR tours, and more.

As one of the only events of its kind in North America, the agenda will focus on Ontario’s capabilities in the auto industry, specifically on the smarter, safer, and connected technologies Canadian companies are developing to cause the next shift in the automotive and mobility sectors.
